As November draws closer, we're faced with another major election, and another turning point for legislation that impacts credit unions nationwide. The political environment and legislation that affects credit unions has a direct impact on members. We want to make sure our members understand how these elections affect you as part of a credit union community, and to encourage you to make your voice heard by voting this November. We’re not telling you how to vote, but we do want you to know the stake you have in this election, both as credit union members and members of this country. Our state has nearly 806,000 credit union members, and it’s crucial that our voice be heard by
state government officials .
Credit unions are constantly working to show they’re a better alternative to the big banks, and much of that fight happens at the national level.
