Frontier Community Credit Union Creates New Program To Help Homeless
Frontier Community Credit Union has launched a charitable initiative to raise money for a new area homeless shelter. One-hundred dollars from every new home loan will go to the Leavenworth Interfaith Shelter of Hope.
Frontier Community Credit Union Receives Community Service Award
The Credit Union National Association awarded Frontier Community Credit Union with the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award for the state of Kansas. The annual award, named for a long-time credit union leader, goes to credit unions that have made community service a priority. Only one credit union in each state receives the award in each of four asset categories.
Frontier Community Credit Union Donates $3,000 To Survivor Outreach Services
Frontier Community Credit Union contributed $3,000 from our Surviving Spouse & Family Member program to support the Survivor Outreach Services program, which is part of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation at Fort Leavenworth. The credit union donated $1,500, with a matching contribution from the Armed Forces Financial Network.
Frontier Community Credit Union Honored For Promoting Saving
Frontier Community Credit Union received a 2017 America Saves Designation of Savings Excellence honorable mention. Participation supported this national program that promotes the importance of saving money. Only 40 financial institutions across the nation were recognized for their efforts.
Frontier Community Credit Union Awards 2017 McCoy-Porter Scholarships
Frontier Community Credit Union has awarded $1,000 scholarships to area high school graduates Emma Bresser and Megan Unrath, based on their outstanding academic achievements, work ethic, civic and educational involvement and character.
Frontier Community Credit Union Donates $9,000 To The United Way Of Leavenworth County
The funds for the annual donation were raised through the credit union’s United Way Skip-A-Pay program. Each year, members who have borrowed money from the credit union can skip their October, November, December or January loan payments for a fee, a portion of which is donated to the United Way.
